What a great way to start the weekend! We raised nearly $1000 for the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA! But our fun didn’t end there. We took a 3-plus mile walk on a sunny day in Tempe, Arizona around Tempe Town Lake with hundreds (thousands?) of others interested in raising money for this excellent no-kill animal shelter. Plus, we got to see lots and lots of adorable dogs! Life doesn’t get much better than that.

For all that fun and goodness, I want to thank the people who sponsored us on this walk! Because of you, our team of three brought in a boatload of cash for an excellent cause. All the money goes toward all the upkeep it takes for caring for rescued animals: medical expenses, building maintenance, food, supplies, you name it!
